NAPOLEONIC VILLAGE

I AM MAKING A NAPOLEONIC VILLAGE ON THE CHEAP WITH BITS OF OLD WOOD,CARDBOARD,POLYSTYRENE BITS.I AM GOING TO CREATE SCENES TO MAKE PICTURE STORIES OF MY OWN CHARACTERS,REAL LIFE PERSONALTIES OF THE PERIOD AND CHARACTERS FROM THE SHARPE BOOKS AND FILMS.

FIRST UP IS ROSE'S HALL NAMED AFTER THE PAINTING HUNG UP ON THE WALL THIS IS WHERE THE VILLAGERS HAVE MEETINGS BASICALLY THE VILLAGE HALL.

CUT SOME WALLS FROM POLYSTYRENE PACKAGING FROM MY NEW OVEN ADDED DOORS AND WINDOWS CUT FROM FIGURE SPRUES
MADE PART OF THE ROOFING WITH POLYSTYRENE AND CARDBOARD
PAINTED THE FLOOR ON THE POLYSTYRENE BASE
FIRST COAT OF PAINT ON THE WALLS
PAINTED THE ROOFING MADE A SHELTER FOR HORSES OR WAGONS
PAINTED THE WINDOW FRAME AND MADE SOME SHUTTERS FROM FIGURE BASES
BASIC LOOK OF THE HALL BEFORE THE PAINT
PAINTED THE POLYSTYRENE TO LOOK LIKE STONE BORDER WALLS
MADE SOME GATES FROM CARDBOARD THEY DO OPEN AND CLOSE
FOUND A SPANISH PAINTING ON LINE SHRUNK IT AND MOUNTED IT ON A PLASTIC BASE TO GIVE IT THE LOOK OF BEING IN A FRAME

DID A WATERY BROWN COAT ON THE WALLS TO TRY TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE WEATHERING

STARTING TO COVER THE BASE WITH SAND SAWDUST AND SOIL COLOURED FLOCK
 THE SHELTERS ROOF

FINISHED BAR PUTTING SOME SHRUBS ON THE WALLS AND PAINTING THE RECENT FILLER AS I REALISED THERE WAS GAPS IN THE WALLS
 RIFLEMAN AND A PORTUGUESE CACADORE
 RIFLEMAN ON THE ROOF
FIGURES NOT FINISHED YET NEED BASING AND SHADING
